1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting an eligibility assessment, booking an appointment, or asking Shepherds Education to assist you with an education or training pathway, you acknowledge these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Our Role
Shepherds Education is a third-party education marketing, information and guidance service.
We assist prospective students by providing information about education and training opportunities, helping identify potentially appropriate pathways, assisting with preliminary eligibility information, facilitating communication, and supporting applications or enrolments with relevant education providers.
3. No Work, Trade or Occupational Licence
Shepherds Education does not issue, grant, approve or guarantee any work, trade, occupational or professional licence.
This includes electrical and other regulated occupational licences. Shepherds Education may provide information and guidance regarding education and qualification pathways that could form part of a person's broader licensing pathway.
Licensing requirements are determined by the relevant government, regulatory or licensing authority and may include qualifications, competency assessments, practical experience, supervision, documentation and other requirements.
4. Education Pathway Guidance
Our role is to assist you in identifying and understanding potentially appropriate education pathways based on the information available to us and the information you provide.
Our assistance may include course selection, preliminary eligibility guidance, provider selection, application support, enrolment assistance and general education pathway guidance.
Final eligibility, admission, recognition of prior learning, assessment, course completion, certification and licensing decisions remain with the relevant organisations responsible for those decisions.
5. Government Funding
Where a course is described as potentially government funded, subsidised or supported, this does not mean that every applicant will qualify.
Funding eligibility may depend on factors including location, state or territory, residency or citizenship status, previous qualifications, employment circumstances, selected course, provider requirements and applicable government funding rules.
References to government funding mean that funding may be available to eligible students, subject to confirmation by the relevant provider and applicable program requirements.
6. Information You Provide
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when submitting an enquiry or progressing an application.
Eligibility guidance and pathway recommendations may depend on the information you provide. Inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information may affect the suitability of the guidance provided or the outcome of an application.
7. Sharing Information With Your Selected Provider
When you decide to proceed with an education or training pathway, relevant personal information and documentation may need to be provided to the selected course provider, RTO, college or other organisation involved in processing your application.
Before progressing your application, you should review the relevant course, provider, fees, funding arrangements, entry requirements, delivery arrangements and other important conditions.
By instructing us to proceed with an application or enrolment, you acknowledge and authorise the sharing of relevant information with the selected provider where reasonably necessary to progress your enquiry or application.
8. Communication Consent
Where you provide consent, you agree that Shepherds Education may contact you regarding your enquiry, appointments, course options, eligibility, applications, enrolment and relevant education opportunities.
Communications may be made by telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Messenger or other communication channels you provide or use to communicate with us.
You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications at any time using the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.
9. No Guarantee of Outcome
Shepherds Education aims to provide accurate information and appropriate guidance, but we cannot guarantee:
- Admission or enrolment into a course.
- Government funding or subsidies.
- Recognition of Prior Learning outcomes.
- Successful completion of a course.
- Employment or any particular salary or career outcome.
- Professional registration.
- Trade, work or occupational licensing.
- Decisions made by an RTO, education provider, employer, government agency or licensing authority.
10. Third-Party Education Providers
Education and training services may be delivered by independent third-party providers. Those providers may maintain their own enrolment agreements, privacy policies, refund policies, fees and terms and conditions.
Students should review the applicable provider documentation before proceeding with an enrolment.
11. Changes to These Terms
Shepherds Education may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, business practices or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on our website.
